The hotel is situated on a main road with bus routes straight into the city center, making it convenient for exploring Edinburgh. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay, even providing a lift into town. However, the cleanliness of the location left something to be desired.

My room at the back of the house facing the gardens was cozy but could have been cleaner. The TV didn't work, which was a bit inconvenient, especially when traveling with a teenager who enjoys having it on. Despite reporting the issue, it remained unresolved for the duration of my stay.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were very clean and well-equipped, making it a good size for a family room.
